Fear Factory
I’m SO close to finishing this one. I just need to figure out what to use for the low percussive noises. All of the other instruments have been recorded already.
Dark World Theme
Ok, so I’ve finished recording all of the audio on this one, but now I’m looking for someone to play the violin/viola parts. I’ve actually been having a hard time with this, so I’m considering playing the parts myself, since I need to by a violin for my Undertale arrangement. I’ll have to see how complicated the parts are though.
Something From Undertale
This one was a little lower down on the list, but it coincided with something that has been on my personal list for a while, so I decided to add it to my workflow. I’m going to work on the theme called “Undertale,” and I’ve already finished the arrangement, so now I just need to acquire a few instruments that I’m going to need to record it.
Forest Interlude
The arrangement for this one is coming along nicely, but this track has a lot of weird noises in it, so I’ve been looking around for some things I can use to reproduce them. I was also trying to work out how I’m going to record the really fast synth parts, but I think I’ve got that part figured out now.
I just submitted a suggestion! How long will it take you to add it to the main list?
Each time you submit a suggestion I am notified via email, so you can expect your vote to be added to the leaderboard within 24 hours or so. If it seems like I missed your suggestion, don’t worry! I’m probably just busy, but I will definitely tally your suggestion before I upload my next video. I also never choose a suggestion to arrange without ensuring that all of the suggestions have been properly tallied.
How often will you upload things from the Suggestion Box?
My goal is to maintain a 1:1 ratio of uploads from the Suggestion Box and uploads from my personal to-do list. However, sometimes the suggestions from the Suggestion Box are a lot more challenging than my own personal selections, so they may end up taking longer to complete. If I end up working on a super complicated suggestion, I might end up modifying the upload ratio to favor my own to-do list more, but overall I will try to keep the amount of effort equal between my own list and the Suggestion Box.
Will you always choose the top suggestion on the list?
My goal is to always have the top 5 or so suggestions in my workflow. Although I will try my hardest to choose suggestions with the most points, sometimes I won’t be able to for various reasons (i.e. I don’t have the proper instruments, I don’t have the ability to play a certain part, etc.). In these cases, I will clearly mark the suggestion and append a note of what is preventing me from recording it, and I will try to figure out a way to get around that barrier. In the meantime, you can continue to vote for those suggestions if you’d like, just be aware that I might not ever be able to record it depending on the nature of the problem. But I will try hard to always choose the highest rated suggestion that is within my ability!
