Suggestion Box

This is a list of all unprocessed submissions, separated by tier. You can use this list to confirm that your submission has been received. Once a submission has been added to the Suggestion Box, it will be removed from this list. The most recent submissions are at the top of each tier.

I’m gonna try to upload this one next. I was originally never able to find a violinist to play the lead part, but I’m gonna take another crack at finding someone so I can finally cross this one off the list. [Updated: 12/01/2025]

You’ve all been very patiently waiting for this one! I’m trying to prioritize this one since it’s been on the backburner for so long, so I finally forced myself to finish the arrangement, and now I’m just trying to figure out how to produce all of the various percussive noises. I’d like this one to be the next Suggestion Box entry that I upload (after Outer Wilds from my personal list), but I’m not sure how realistic that is. So I might end up posting an easier Suggestion Box entry ahead of this one. [Updated: 12/01/2025]

A couple of the top tracks in the Suggestion Box were neck and neck for a long time, so I was waiting for one to definitively pull ahead before I picked one to arrange. Jib Jig finally inched out above the other tracks, so i decided to put it into my workflow! I’ve just started arranging it, and everything seems to be going smoothly. Looks like I’ll only need to buy one instrument for this one (a bodhran). [Updated: 12/01/2025]

I used to be able to record every suggestion within 24 hours or so, but now that I allow everyone to vote for a higher number of tracks per survey, I have a much larger volume of data to record. As such, it might take me a while to add your votes to the list, but rest assured that the backend of the Suggestion Box is very neatly organized, ensuring that none of your votes will be lost or overlooked. So if seems like I missed your suggestion, don’t worry! I’m probably just busy, but I will definitely tally your suggestion before I make a decision about which track to move into my workflow. My goal is to tally at least 5 entries per day. If you’d like to check my progress on tallying suggestions, just check out the “Submissions” tab to see how many entries I have yet to add to the list.

My goal is to maintain a 1:1 ratio of uploads from the Suggestion Box and uploads from my personal to-do list. However, sometimes the suggestions from the Suggestion Box are a lot more challenging than my own personal selections, so they may end up taking longer to complete. If I end up working on a super complicated suggestion, I might end up modifying the upload ratio to favor my own to-do list more, but overall I will try to keep the amount of effort equal between my own list and the Suggestion Box.

My goal is to always have the top 5 or so suggestions in my workflow. Although I will try my hardest to choose suggestions with the most points, sometimes I won’t be able to for various reasons (i.e. I don’t have the proper instruments, I don’t have the ability to play a certain part, etc.). In these cases, I will clearly mark the suggestion and append a note of what is preventing me from recording it, and I will try to figure out a way to get around that barrier. In the meantime, you can continue to vote for those suggestions if you’d like, just be aware that I might not ever be able to record it depending on the nature of the problem. But I will try hard to always choose the highest rated suggestion that is within my ability!
